SWAN News Growth Opportunities for NEMT Operators

SWAN Director of Transportation and NEMT Program Leader Marc Crawford has had a busy year speaking at a number of events focused on trends and innovation around the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation industry.

From iCabbi's Innovate 2024 Conference in Orlando, we learned how their launch of Move AI will harness the power of machine learning to deliver advanced route optimization and real-time re-optimization for fleet managers.

Working with industry partners like Modivcare and Model 1, Marc has helped operators adapt to requirements for symbol 2, 8 and 9 in ride vendor contracts while overcoming vehicle shortages to access ADA compliant options.

June 18-20, Marc will be at The Transportation Alliance's RevUp 2024 Summer Symposium & Expo in Niagara Falls, NY speaking on a session titled "Update on Auto Liability Insurance & Risk Control."

If you're planning on attending, will be in the area or have other questions, email Marc to connect in person or click below to schedule a call with him.

Schedule a call with Kevin Know Where Cross-Border Drivers Can & Can't Go

Legislative changes across different states have left fleet operators confused about where their drivers may or may not be able to pick up and drop off cargo.

After transporting cargo from Mexico to the US, a driver with a B1 license can pick up cargo in the US as well. However, they must drive it back to Mexico and cannot perform pickups and drop-offs within the US beforehand.

Learn how to best leverage your drivers and their licenses without putting your company at risk. Schedule a call with SWAN Cross-Border Transportation Specialist Kevin Mealey to best optimize your fleet for success.
