There's been lots of activity since my update last quarter so let's dive right in... I had the privilege of speaking at The Transportation Alliance's RevUp 2024 Summer Symposium & Expo in Niagara Falls, NY alongside Tristar President and COO Lauren Payne, Paratransit Insurance President Ham Smythe IV, and Brian Boucher of The Hilb Group. In Los Angeles I attended the Traversa Roadshow kickoff where I caught up with the Broda team - they offer everyday manual and non-emergency medical transport wheelchairs for improved comfort and mobility - as part of our ongoing support with NEMT operators. Last quarter I mentioned our partnership with Model 1 Commercial Vehicles and have since seen a number of our clients solve fleet shortages with them. Welcome, Nicholas Washington to the Model 1 team, covering California Operators. I wanted hands-on education around passenger transport safety options and met with Oli at Ambulok to learn more about their Q'STRAINT system and its compatibility with Model 1 vans - view my recap. Meeting with our supportive partners and establishing new relationships has provided direct benefits for our customers. For New NEMT operators, I recommend looking for mentorship with established fleet operations. I am open to introductions as I believe a great way to learn is through operators who have worked through these same challenges and come out ahead. NEMT scheduling, routing, and dispatch software Bambi had a system update enabling organizations to order rides and track them in real-time on a map, all within Bambi. Alter Med RCM is a medical billing solution now working with NEMT providers in credentialing, coding, and billing. RoutingBox is helping companies that transport special needs and McKinney-Vento students with software for door-to-door trips. Integrated features include route management and optimization, real time tracking, billing, and a mobile driver app to help you decrease miscommunication and increase customer and employee satisfaction. School Bus training has always been a priority and with PAX Training, you have the ability to customize their extensive library of courses around your company's needs. Pax has welcomed Adam Hall to the team as Director of Sales and has a wealth of knowledge in the livery business. From a fleet perspective, I am continuing to see mixed usage that includes taxi and public auto move into the NEMT space. There are unique challenges we address, including reviewing and addressing coverage for the largest claims exposures: loading and unloading coverage limits, contractor coverage, and underinsured and uninsured motorist coverage. As many of my NEMT providers continue to grow, year over year, it is important to note that not only is workers' compensation required by the state in which you operate but also with ride broker contracts. With the growth and addition of drivers comes the need for accurate payroll reporting and NEMT workers' comp coverage. We have added two new markets specializing in this space and can help you control these costs.
