I'd like to lead off with some very exciting personal news. Gina and I are now the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl named Kennedy. As you can imagine, life has been busy in new and exciting ways and I appreciate everyone's support as a newly minted father. NEMT Q4 2024 Carrier Updates We are seeing ride brokers stipulating under 2024-2025 contract requirements for insurance coverage to be with an A-rated carrier. Be aware that cheaper options will be declined as they do not meet the updated ride broker rating requirements. NEMT program carriers are classifying cell phone violations as a major infraction (meaning excluded or surcharged by the insurance company). This means anyone with a cell phone violation - even a fleet owner not on the road - could impact premiums. Click here to download the NEMT Driver Guidelines around motor vehicle records and more. As a safety-first culture in NEMT, it is imperative you have a cell phone usage policy for all new and existing employees. If you do not have a policy or procedures manual, please reach out to our partners at PAX Training. MCO's (Managed Care Organizations) are increasingly requiring a $1M/$3M general liability and professional liability policy. We have a standalone option to meet or to bid on MCO contracts that is more cost effective. Currently most carriers are offering only a $1M/$2M general liability policy. TTA is a non-profit trade association serving the private passenger industry. NEMTAC Conference Brings Connections and Thought Leadership
The recent Transform Conference sponsored by the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Accreditation Commission (NEMTAC) marked a record turnout. It was a fantastic opportunity to stay on top of the latest NEMT trends and connect with our valued clients.
