Welcome,
In this edition of NEMT Growth Opportunities, we're pleased to share some of the latest news and trends in the industry. For example, learn what a captive insurance structure is and the benefits it can provide for your business. You'll also find timely announcements from industry leaders as well as a very informative article in value-based pay.
Lastly are a reminder about the timing this year for the annual NEMT Transform Conference as well as a profile of my participation as a panelist at the recent NEMT Growth Roadshow in Florida.
As always, we value your input and insights on information that are most important to you, the Transportation Provider. We listen to our TPs and appreciate your feedback!
Is a Captive Insurance Structure Right for You?
There is an important structural option for managing insurance. It's called a "captive" - a solution that provides insurance to and is controlled by its owners or parent company.
SWAN can help create such a structure for companies in the healthcare business such as NEMT and ambulance services, home healthcare providers, clinics and nursing homes. Types of coverage available include workers' compensation and business auto insurance.
Advantages of a captive structure range from a determination of premiums that's insulated from market conditions and a return of unused funds to earned investment income on capital as well as enhanced loss control and claims management.
We'd be happy to help you determine whether this approach would be a good fit for your business. Text, email me, or schedule a call to see how we can help.

• Installation of 360 cameras inside vehicles
• Coverage for uninsured/underinsured motorists
